Leadership training event for millennials who lead people - and for leaders who lead millennials.
“I only wish I could find an institute that teaches people how to listen. Business people need to listen at least as much as they need to talk. Too many people fail to realize that real communication goes in both directions.” Lee Iacocca
In 2016, millennials became the largest generation in the US work force. Soon, if not already, a millennial is in a formal leadership position in your organization. Opinions on generational differences abound. This course gets to the heart of that discussion: relationships. Strong relationships, between generations and other differences, fuel greater collaboration, help people navigate through change, increase fulfillment and reduce conflict.
Relationships are built, re-built and nurtured through conversation. However, if both people are talking at each other, is it really a conversation? Most of us received training on speech, debate and presentation skills. Get training on the other half of the conversation that values people, drives collaboration and is the number one requested behavior from team members: the skill of listening. As a leader of team member, listening transforms relationships and organizations, one connection at a time. The BW Leadership Institute teaches this course around the world to professional sports teams, major airlines and everything in-between.
